We believe we can plant 1,000 churches in our generation. To do that we can't rely on one engine of church planting. We need 15 engines of church planting. We aren't just multiplying churches. We're multiplying the movement itself.

The Collaboratives
Today the movement runs on two Collaboratives. Each one identifies leaders, supports its churches like family, and plants new churches together.

Summit Collaborative
In 2011, The Summit Church began intentionally training and sending church planters, committing not just to planting churches but to helping them thrive. Since then, The Summit has sent out dozens of pastors from its own staff and partnered with other Collaborative churches to train and send nearly 100 more church planters.

Mercy Hill Collaborative
Founded in Greensboro, NC, in 2012, Mercy Hill Church quickly embraced a vision for planting churches. Since then, they have planted numerous churches by sending out leaders from their own staff and now lead the Mercy Hill Collaborative, a growing family of churches working together to advance multiplication.

When we look at planting 100+ churches a year by 2036, we know where those planters are right now. They're in college classrooms. A18 is the movement's shared vision for multiplication through college ministry: reaching students on campus and sending them out as witnesses and church planters.
